Yvette Collymore brings global health communications and media experience to the malaria disease area in PATH’s Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access. Working closely with stakeholders at the World Health Organization and within specific sub-Saharan African countries, Yvette coordinates PATH’s current work on country communications for malaria vaccine implementation. As such, she has managed audience research processes and worked with Ministry of Health teams to develop communications strategies and appropriate materials and messages.
Yvette has authored and co-authored handbooks, articles, web content, and briefing materials, and has served as a communications resource for a variety of R&D projects. Prior to joining PATH, Yvette worked as a writer and editor at the Washington-based Population Reference Bureau and as a print and radio journalist, covering institutions such as the United Nations and World Bank. Yvette holds an MA in journalism from the University of Maryland.
