Valerie Moore serves as a senior project manager within the Malaria Vaccine Initiative and the Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access (CVIA). In her role, Valerie coordinates anti-infection vaccine development and monitors milestones used to measure program progress towards achieving strategic goals.
Before joining PATH, Valerie worked for Novavax, Inc. in the Project Management Office, where she managed the respiratory syncytial virus program (RSV), Ebola virus disease program, and Zika virus programs. She comes to MVI with a strong background in biologics project management and regulatory affairs.
Prior to working at Novavax, she was a Project Manager at Lentigenand a Senior Laboratory Manager of the Vector Core Department/Project Manager at GenVec, Inc., where she was managed vector construction, production, and analytical activities.
Valerie earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland and is also working towards completing a master’s degree in Regulatory Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University.
