We work to catalyze timely access to vaccines in endemic countries.

This has meant working with global and country partners to generate and analyze data and information and define processes to inform decision-making on malaria vaccines.

Specific areas of this work have included:

  • Data for decision-making: Collaborating with in-country technical bodies and other stakeholders to facilitate the compilation of evidence—including clinical trial data, public health impact estimates, economic analyses, and sociocultural data—for malaria vaccine decisions.
  • Policy and regulatory pathways: Mapping the policy pathway of a product—the most efficient movement of the product from development to national decision-making and use.
  • Financing: Encouraging and monitoring the progress and development of financing mechanisms through which the donor community can support malaria vaccines.
