The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a position paper for GSK's malaria vaccine candidate RTS,S (also known as Mosquirix^TM). 

The WHO position paper, issued in January 2016, recommends large-scale pilot implementations of RTS,S. The recommendation confirms the advice provided in October 2015 by the WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) and Malaria Policy Advisory Committee (MPAC).
